Nasiliyo Lukasi, a 75-year-old woman from Chimkwita Village, GVH Goshen, has faced significant challenges due to her advanced age. Unable to farm as she once did, she has struggled with food shortages, making daily survival difficult.
However, her situation changed when she received a pack of rice. With gratitude, she expressed how the assistance would sustain her for several days. She acknowledged that her strength no longer allows her to cultivate her own food, making this support a true blessing.
Nasiliyo deeply appreciated the generosity of those who made the donation possible, especially “Mama,” whom she thanked wholeheartedly. She promised to use the rice wisely, cooking it in small portions to make it last as long as possible.
